Yes—most guests are expected to. Some will come with friends or partners, but everyone joins one group. A group chat opens long before departure so you can get to know each other and coordinate plans. The skipper and helper welcome everyone individually on arrival. You don’t need to bring your own social circle.

People who want to meet someone outside their usual circle and enjoy sharing an adventure. Asking questions, including others, and lending a hand matter more than being the loudest person on deck. Sailing Social is new, so you’re not joining an established members’ club.

A night out can be part of the week, but it isn’t the whole plan. Stay out or turn in early; drink or don’t. Neither should decide how much you feel part of the group. Just be considerate of anyone trying to sleep.

No sailing experience is needed. There are free sailing lessons for anyone who wants to get involved. Equally, you can settle into a comfortable spot and enjoy being on the water. Curiosity is welcome; an impressive sailing CV isn’t required.

The adventure is aboard a 2018 Lagoon 42 catamaran with four double cabins, two forward crew cabins, and four WC/showers. The published berth layout is 8+2+2. Both rates are per person in a shared double cabin. You can request who you share with; otherwise, we match cabin mates after a private conversation. Each double cabin has access to one of four bathrooms, with final bathroom sharing confirmed before departure.

Yes—you can sit out an activity or take some time to read and unwind. Your shared double cabin gives you somewhere to retreat, but it isn’t a private room. Deck space, meals, and much of the day are communal, so expect less privacy than in a hotel.

Pack for life on the water and time ashore: swimwear, sun protection, a layer for cooler evenings, and comfortable shoes for exploring stone streets. We’re barefoot on board, reach shore by dinghy, and the local beaches are pebbled rather than sandy. Bring your own health and travel insurance.

Both Croatia journeys start at ACI Marina Trogir. Arrive on Saturday afternoon for boarding and departure preparation from 16:00–17:00. The catamaran returns Friday around 14:00 for a final night in the marina, and everyone offboards Saturday at 08:30.

No. The suggested journey takes in the Blue Lagoon, Šolta and a snorkelling stop at the shipwreck, Hvar, the Pakleni islands, and the islets around Brač. Weather, sea conditions, and practical sailing decisions shape the final route.

For either 2026 Croatia journey, a place in a shared double cabin is €490 per adult. A current student or recent graduate who does not yet have a full-time job can join for €245 as a student/helper, contributing extra to groceries, cooking, cleaning, and everyday boat tasks; this is not paid work or a crew position. The price includes accommodation aboard, an experienced skipper, planned excursions, and gratuities for the skipper and helper. Food, drinks, fuel, marina fees, and travel to and from Trogir are additional.

Guests contribute the actual costs of food, drinks, fuel, and marina fees during the journey. These are split equally unless someone opts out of a specific personal purchase. We provide an estimated per-person budget before you book.

Send an enquiry through Instagram first. A place is confirmed only after written acceptance and full payment. Cancel at least 30 days before departure for a full refund, or 15–29 days before departure for a 50% refund. Payments are non-refundable within 14 days of departure unless a replacement guest takes the place.

Speak privately with either the skipper or the helper. Both are available during the journey, so you can choose the person you feel most comfortable approaching.
